Reach local customers searching on Google Maps

On this post of the official Adwords Blog you can check new features of Google Maps related with your AdWords campaigns.

They explain:

Just like in the current version of Google Maps, the best way to have your ads seen by potential customers in the new Google Maps is to run search ads with location extensions. You’ll also need ensure you’re including search partners in your campaign network settings to appear on Google Maps.

You can learn a bit more about Search Partners at this other post of Google AdWords Help website.

Definition of Search Partner = Sites in the Search Network that partner with Google to show ads.

You can unmark the option "Includes search partners" on your campaigns settings page in order to not show your ads on search partners.
When you do that, your ads are able to show on Google Search and Shopping only and not on other Google search sites, like Maps, or search partner sites.
